Cost effective decorating…

Now it’s time to choose between screen printed, embroidered or vinyl transfer. Check out our Learn articles to understand each process but here’s a quick break down.

Screen Printing

Setup Costs: Yes (Screen Hire, Transfer & Setup from $30.00)

Per Print Cost: Low

Durability: High – The screen printing process pushes inks into the fibres of garments creating a bond between the two.

Suitability: Suitable for small to high production runs. Most commonly suited to future production runs as you only pay for screen setup once per design!

Embroidery

Setup Costs: Yes (Design Digitisation from $50.00)

Per Print Cost: Low – Moderate

Durability: High – embroidery is the process of stitching threads into garments

Suitability: Suitable for small to high production runs. Most commonly suited to future production runs as you only pay for digitisation once per design!

Heat Vinyl Transfers

Setup Costs: No

Per Print Cost: Moderate – High

Durability: Moderate – heat vinyl transfers are adhered to your garments with a combination of heat and pressure, this results in the vinyl sitting on top of garments fabric.

Suitability: Suitable for low production runs as you only pay per cut!

Keep your costs down…

We want you to be able to purchase a custom garment and be satisfied with both the garment and price. Another tip to reducing your overall costs is the number of colours and complexity of your design. Reducing your design to single colours will dramatically lower your setup fees.
